Tom Sears
KinseySears Managing Director Tom is a senior sports industry executive with over 20 years’ global experience in leadership roles with National Governing Bodies, provincial associations, professional clubs and government funded agencies.
His experience includes Chief Executive and senior positions worldwide and this background gives him a unique insight into the sector in this rapidly growing and influential industry which is of great benefit to his coaching clients.
He has extensive experience of leadership development in the sector and has successfully worked with a huge range of sports organisations internationally including individuals, leadership teams and Boards in Australasia, Africa and Europe as well as the UK.
Tom is Chair of the Professional Body of Sports Leadership, an ILM/WABC qualified and accredited Executive Coach/Mentor, a qualified PPA DISC assessor and a regular tutor on sports leadership degree programmes with a number of universities.
His other roles include a Board role with an exciting European sports tech start up and as a mentor for the Qatar Sports Tech programme.
Jennifer Campbell
Jennifer began her career in the sports industry following completion of a BSc in Sport Coaching. Jennifer has coached up to National level in junior basketball, alongside running and managing widespread community sport programmes, events and initiatives. Following Jennifer’s coaching career, she then moved into Sport Development working with elite sports clubs, NGB’s and member organisations within the Local Authority, Leisure and Higher Education industries.
Over the last 6 years, Jennifer has been leading Executive Search assignments across a variety of tech organisations, which has included working with global SportsTech companies to expand their senior commercial & leadership teams.
Jennifer prides herself on building strong relationships and meaningful partnerships with both clients and candidates and brings these qualities to her role of Director of Executive Search at KinseySears.
Karina Murtagh
Karina is a highly experienced sports industry professional who began her career at the England and Wales Cricket Board and spent 14-years in a variety of senior positions including Head of Insight. Her roles spanned grass roots, domestic and international cricket and her understanding of the game and network internationally is comprehensive.
Karina left the ECB to become Chief Executive of the Ruth Strauss Foundation where she led the charity from initial concept and start-up to become an internationally recognised pioneer which raised millions of pounds through ground-breaking initiatives and partnerships. Her inspirational leadership and ability to work with a huge range of stakeholders and partners brought her widespread acclaim.
Throughout her career Karina has established and worked with high-performing teams in the sporting and charitable sectors at executive and Board level, this experience is a huge asset to our clients. She now brings this expertise to KinseySears where her focus is on strategic development, developing new client partnerships and providing executive coaching as an ILM accredited leadership coach.
Hayley Wood
Hayley has worked for almost fifteen years in commercial roles in the sports and entertainment industries with her expertise spanning sales, marketing, business development and team leadership in world leading venues and on global events.
Her experience includes senior leadership roles at Lord’s Cricket Ground, the iconic The O2, and currently she holds a global sales role with Formula 1.
Over the last five years Hayley has been working and speaking with different personal and business coaches before undertaking her own training. In doing so she has developed both her self-awareness and her impact on others, found her own voice and style, improved her confidence and navigated some difficult and challenging situations.
Hayley is an Institute and Management (ILM) Certified Business Coach, a founder member of the Professional Body of Sports Leadership’s Coaching & Mentoring Network and an Alumni Coach for the University of Sheffield. She is also studying foundation level training in NLP which focuses on retraining our beliefs and ways of thinking.
Dean Williams
Inducted to the prestigious Forbes Coaches Council, voted by CEO Today Magazine as one of the ‘Top 100 Globally’, in consecutive years, and recognised as ‘2020’s Leading Executive Coach of The Year’ at the Corporate Excellence Awards, Dean has been practicing high-end executive coaching for 20 years.
Dean is a regular columnist for a wide-variety of business press and entrepreneurial publications and author of three books: Voice – The Little Book Of An Executive Coach’s Wisdom, Thrive – How To Achieve And Sustain High-Level Career Success and Creating Grade ‘A’ Business Relationships.
Dean is also a co-Founder of The Business Coaching Academy, which he set up to educate, enlighten and accredit managers and leaders on the art of coaching. Dean has served on the Board of a leading international children’s charity, is Vice Chair of a non-league football club and is currently a non-executive director at Welsh Gymnastics.
Darren Preston
Darren is a highly experienced senior sports industry executive with an extensive track record in leadership roles and high-profile positions in both Rugby and Football.
Currently the Chief Operating Officer at Fulham Football Club and a trustee of the Fulham Football Club Foundation and a trustee of the Union Jax Foundation.
Darren has a proven track record of delivering strategic, financial, commercial and operational objectives with specific expertise in contract negotiation, project delivery, financial and budgetary control, people management, procurement, stakeholder and relationship management, and all aspects of facility and event operations.
As a coach he is ILM/WABC qualified and accredited and utilises his vast experience and knowledge of the industry to achieve the best outcomes for his clients.
Andy Sutherden
Andy is an experienced sports marketing and communications consultant, credited for working on award winning campaigns for some of the world’s most famous brands. He is an acknowledged expert at helping businesses grow by maximising their return on sponsorship and partnership investment.
Most recently served as Global Head of Sports Marketing for WPP firm H+K Strategies and International Head of Brand Consulting for Creative Artists Agency (CAA). Andy founded Sutherden Consulting in 2020, specialising in partnership strategy and reputation management, and is a Non-Executive Director of a ground-breaking change management and speak-up business called iTrust Assurance.
Andy featured in ‘PRWeek’s Global Power Book’ in recent years and in 2018, was named as one of the UK’s Top 5 sports communication professionals. He is a qualified Executive Business Coach with strong experience in defining personal brand, raising self and social awareness, building resilience and career planning & business innovation.
Rosie Ranganathan
With almost 20 years’ experience of working in HR with major brands, broadcasters and sports organisations, Rosie is passionate about developing individuals and organisations.
She started out in music, moving into TV and then into high-performance sport. Rosie began to coach as she noticed how this transformed the service she was able to provide to internal stakeholders and realised this was her new found path. She trained with ILM and Barefoot and began to focus full time on her coaching practice.
Rosie is a retained in-house coach for Coutts Private Bank (part of the NatWest Group) helping to drive a coaching culture and coaching senior leaders. She is also a preferred supplier for UK Sport to coach leaders across the sector and is a Non-Executive Director of UK Coaching.
Cedric le Nest
In spending more than ten years in the recruitment and executive search industry in Paris, Dublin and London, Cedric Le Nest has acquired extensive experience and expertise, building up a network that spans Europe. He began specialising in the sports industry almost ten years ago, working for a number of major sports organisations in Europe.
Cedric began his career in international executive search in London before moving to Paris to become the CEO and founder of Sport Business Talent. His experience and professional approach have earned him widespread recognition among senior professionals who can vouch for his ability to recruit exceptional talent in the sports business market.
Richard Stenhouse
Auckland based Richard founded the highly successful Global Elite Executive Search following his career as a professional rugby player. He has extensive international executive search experience and a proven track record within the Australian, New Zealand and global sports and entertainment markets across many high-profile CEO, senior commercial and performance related recruitment assignments.
Richard has worked on multiple CEO roles including several Super Rugby and Big Bash franchise appointments and the Chief Executive of the ICC 2021 Women’s World.
